So I can only conclude that the Lemmon worked better than the Spektrum. I do currently run Spektrum but recently purchased two 7 channel Lemmon with remote receivers but was concerned about using them in my good more expensive models.

Yes, I rely on LemonRX for several of my more expensive models, but a step better is to go with Radiomaster and ExpressLRS. That gives you a huge boost in range and I’ve never had an issue with them. I have had a couple issues with both Spektrum and LemonRX (More with Spektrum than LemonRX).
